that is when the December atmosphere begins to spread over historic Fredriksten.
We invite you to this year’s Family Christmas Buffet.
Here, several generations can gather around the table, lower your shoulders
and enjoy the good, traditional flavors we associate with Christmas.
No one needs to stand in the kitchen
– and we’ll take care of the dishes.
A festive spread filled with the flavors of Christmas
We start with the classics from the cold Christmas buffet:
Home-cured and hot-smoked salmon,
classic herring table, rakfisk, and homemade aspic.
Roast beef, turkey, cured meats, Christmas brawn, and lamb roll.
From the kitchen, the warm Christmas favorites are served:
Traditional pork ribs with medister cakes, medister sausages, and delicious Christmas sides.
Christmas cod with pea puree, bacon, butter, Sandefjord butter, and potatoes.
And a family Christmas buffet is, of course, not complete without something sweet.
On the dessert table awaits
Rice cream, homemade caramel pudding, and classic Christmas cookies.
Coffee is included.
