The menu follows the seasons, and is equally suitable for conference lunches as for dinner with a view over Halden and the fjord.

Through collaboration with Eng farm, Dyre farm and Rød farm, we get access to fresh ingredients straight from the field, barn and garden. This gives us the opportunity to serve dishes that are authentic, honest, and full of local flavors – made from scratch, with love for both the craft and the ingredients.

The day starts best with a good breakfast – and with us you get exactly that. At Fredriksten Hotel we serve a generous and inviting breakfast buffet based on local ingredients and a wide selection of homemade favorites. Here our chefs make liver pâté, jam, cold cuts and other delicacies.
We collaborate with Eng farm, Dyre farm and Rød farm among others to give you fresh eggs, crisp vegetables and flavorful cured meats – all with the authentic taste of Østfold.

In addition, we offer freshly baked bread, sweet temptations, and hot dishes that set the tone for the rest of the day.
