You will see some of the most beautiful places along the entire 80 km long Halden Canal, and you will sail through Europe’s highest continuous lock staircase. The spectacular Brekke locks lift you 27 meters through four lock chambers up to Stenselva.
This is Norway’s oldest canal system with locks dating back to 1924, representing an important engineering feat for the further development of industry.
